The church of San Pedro de Echano belongs to the municipality of Olóriz. Today is a exempt building located in a small valley. The 'Despoblado de Echano' that names the place is half hidden among the trees of a forest of oaks and is located north of the temple, approximately 250-300 meters straight up the slope of the mountain. It is known that Echano had its own parish church. In Valdorba interesting examples of rural Romanesque architecture are preserved. Possibly the reason for this heritage is due to two secondary roads Camino de Santiago Aragon plied these territories during the Middle Ages.
