The Camino de Santiago in Valdorba

In Valdorba interesting examples of rural Romanesque architecture are preserved. Possibly the reason for this heritage is due to two secondary roads Camino de Santiago Aragon plied these territories during the Middle Ages. Pilgrims used a Roman road that came from Jaca and in Olleta was divided into two, one passing through Artariain and one in Amatriain, converging both in Garínoain, where continued to Artajona.

Route 1: Olleta, Artariain, Eristain, Lepuzáin and Garínoain.
Route 2: Olleta, Amatriain, Southern Alto de Muruzar, Benegorri, Sansomain and Garínoain.
